"They had the size I needed"
Metals Depot had the exact size I was looking for after a few other places did not. The ordering process was simple, and it was clearly listed as in stock, so there was no guessing. I would definitely use them again...

"Perfect for a tiny order!!!"

The metal showed up in good shape, so I can’t really complain too much. The packaging was beat up though, and the tape job looked a little messy. I’m sure it did the job since nothing was damaged, but it seems like it could be packed a bit better next time...

I’ve bought metal online a few times, so I had a rough idea of what to expect, but the prices at Metals Depot ended up being higher than I thought they’d be. The website was easy to use and I didn’t have any major issues browsing or finding sizes, but once I compared the same pieces with a couple other places, they were cheaper elsewhere. Shipping added to the gap too, which made it feel like less of a deal. It wasn’t a bad experience overall, just not quite what I expected price-wise.

"Super easy pickup, zero drama"
I ordered a few pieces of steel from Metals Depot and went with local pickup since I was already in the area. They sent the ready-for-pickup email, and when I got there, everything was cut exactly how I asked, which felt like a tiny miracle these days.
Pickup was about as painless as it gets. I pulled in, the guys helped load everything up, and I was out of there in no time. No waiting around forever, no confusion, no weird surprises. Price was fair too, so I’d definitely use them again

My order went just fine and the metal showed up exactly as expected!! The only downside was the shipping cost, which felt high for what I bought. I’d probably order again if I need more, but I really wish delivery was a bit cheaper.

I ordered some aluminum flat bar from Metals Depot and went with the custom cut option because I really don’t have the right saw at home for that kind of thing. Putting in the sizes was simple, they cut everything just how I needed it.
The order showed up packed well, and the pieces fit my little project without much messing around, which was nice. Happy with how it turned out, happy with the cuts too, and I’d use them again.

Ordering the metal itself was straightforward, like I found what I needed and all that. The checkout part though... I don’t know, it felt a bit slow and kind of clunky in a couple places. The shipping cost didn’t show up until later, which was annoying because I was already halfway through. I got through it in the end, just wasn’t the smoothest thing.

I was kind of surprised by how much they had on Metals Depot. I found basically the metal sizes and shapes I needed without that whole annoying search forever thing. Local places near me just don’t have anywhere close to the same options. It just felt way easier and better overall, and I was happy with it.

"Solid metal, just a few marks"
I ordered some aluminum angle and a small steel plate for a garage project, and overall I was happy with what showed up. The cuts were close enough for what I needed, and the metal felt solid, straight, and definitely not cheap.

One piece had a few scuffs and scratches, and the edges needed a quick cleanup before I used them. Nothing major though, and it didn’t affect the project at all.
I’d order from them again without much hesitation. Good quality for the price, just not quite flawless enough for a full 5 stars
